Crabtree South Africa is looking for a Demand Planner to translate sales demand, including promotional activity and new product introduction, to create a factory plan to maximise cost service with the lowest inventory.
The successful candidate must possess strong Microsoft Excel and SAP skills. This position will report to the Planning Manager, and the key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Create an overall demand plan for factories.
• Develop and maintain inventory targets to align with demand forecasts.
• Work closely with the sales and production team to gather insights and inputs concerning
forecast demand.
• Monitor plan achievements
• Draw up a master schedule to establish the sequence and lead time of each operation to
meet dispatch dates according to customer orders
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Matric qualification
• Preferably a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering qualification
• Preferably, Planning experience
• 2-5 years in the manufacturing industry
• Factory planning processes
