Graduate Engineer/Intern

Crabtree South Africa are seeking a Mechanical Engineering graduate for a two year (24 months) contract.

Purpose of the Job

To assist in design projects and product development.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

1. Product development and design.
2. Designing and troubleshooting of wiring accessories.
3. Design of jigs and fixtures.
4. 3D and 2D printing.
5. Reporting.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Mechanical design theory knowledge.
3. General electrical understanding.
4. Advantageous: 3 years’ experience in Product development and design.
5. Cad Software – Preferably solid edge.

Soft skills

1. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
2. High level of precision, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to a diverse audience.
4. Strong work ethic and commitment to achieving high-quality results.
